Choosing the most perfect flowers can depend on the occasion, the season or more likely your recipient’s favourite blooms! Here is a quick guide to start you in the right direction so we can get you order ready for the best flower delivery service:

The Occasion

Romantic (Anniversary or Valentines or even a first Date!): While roses are the traditional romantic flower at Panda Flowers, we have modernized this idea by adding other gorgeous stems. By adding lilies (scented or non-scented), daisies, hydrangeas, etc) you will have a mixed bouquet or vased arrangement that will have a longer life! We understand flowers are a luxe purchase so a longer lasting arrangement is always a good thing. The general principle is if you have only one flower type (ie roses) it’s likely their lifespan will come to an end at almost the same time. If you mix up the flowers, the overall lifespan will be longer with different species of flowers lasting longer than others! Win-Win-Win!

Illness: Bright & cheerful works here too! It is important to ask the florist to not include any highly scented flowers (ie stargazer or casablance lilies) as these may not be the best for someone not feeling well. As an additional note, most hospitals do not allow scented lilies given the scent can be upsetting for patients.

Congratulations: (Graduation, Promotions, House Warming, New Baby, etc): For celebratory occasions, anything goes. As always, choosing your recipients favourite stems or even their favourite colour is the best way to go.
